HISTORY

2002… The Milan, Worsley Village, Manchester, like the great Bridgewater Canal which stands before it, has been serving the good people of Worsley and the surrounding region, good food and company for over 10 years

2005… Like the great Bridgewater Canal, The Milan has not stood still. 3 years after its inception in March 2002, it acquired the adjacent properties so as to extend the restaurant to cater for the ever increasing demand for covers. Bigger private booths were incorporated to allow for the growing number of families and groups that would travel to the restaurant, being conveniently placed just off Junction 13 M60, a central point for all roads north, south, east and west of the region.

2008… Llistening to its customers and the ever changing market pulse, it again refurnished, this time allowing for a more spacious waiting area, where groups could arrive prior to their booking, relax, grab a drink and soak up the Italian atmosphere.

2012… The 10th Anniversary. So what now for The Milan. A lot of water has passed under the bridge, The Milan has seen other restaurants come and go while it appears to go from strength to strength. Key to this must be keeping service excellence. Excellent staff with excellent produce delivers excellent cuisine for an excellent experience

Can it keep its doors and it success going for another 10 years? The Milan truly believes it can and as proof of the pudding has metamorphosized itself once again into a Thoroughly Modern Millie!

Cocktails a speciality, with trained staff on hand, to prepare your requested cocktail - just so. As always at The Milan, an impeccable range of quality affordable wines, together with spirits and champagne.

Another new arrival to The Milan. Available in the Wine Bar, Customers old and new may now enjoy Italian Tapas freshly prepared to the exact standards of the dining room, in a informal wine bar environment.

Restaurant
The restaurant serves a la carte lunches and dinner, with the emphasis on the highest standard of ingredients and cooking in a relaxed setting. The menu at The Milan offers quality seasonal and locally produced food at affordable prices. With specials available throughout the week and a regularly updated wine list offering a range of affordable house wines to more superior bottles and champagne.
